Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood

Author: Trevor Noah

Rating:
5/5

Themes: (Auto)Biography and Memoirs

Summary Sentence: The humorous, heartfelt, and somber story of Trevor Noah growing up as a mixed race boy in South Africa through apartheid.
Review: This book was incredible to listen to since Trevor Noah narrated it himself and used the various African accents. At different points I found myself struggling to not laugh out loud, sitting on the edge of my seat, and deep in thought. His life as been a miraculous adventure.
